Seniors need not fear, however, because Buick now has a number of affordable new models, including the freshly redesigned Envision SUV. Buick is introducing affordable new SUV models to increase sales given their popularity, parting ways with passenger sedans and nameplates such as Lacrosse, Century, and Regal. In their place comes a steed of SUV’s in various sizes sporting the brand-new Buick triple shield logo, paying homage to Buick’s history while looking forward to what comes next. Both the young and not-so-young will want to take note of these value-packed vehicles, as some of Buick’s new offerings provide a compelling mix for buyers of any age to give the brand a look.
The mid-size Envision, all new for 2024, seats five people starting at $35,900 MSRP, up to $36,500 MSRP for 2025. The Envision has features that make it quiet, comfortable, and convenient, such as QuietTuning technology, heated steering wheel and seats, power liftgate, and soft touch materials. The 5-seat Envision may be a good choice if you want an easier to drive SUV than a 7 seater, while retaining many of the same features. It also has a rear camera that helps with reversing. The Air quality indicator and air filtering mean folks with asthma or other respiratory problems will breathe easy inside the Envision. An Ultrawide 30 inch screen is one of the largest in its class. All-wheel drive is standard on the new Envision, with active twin-clutch technology. The entry-level Preferred comes standard with a 9-speaker Bose stereo, memory presets for the driver, a heads-up display, and 18 inch machined alloy wheels. The Air quality indicator and air filtering mean senior drivers, longtime Buick-favorite customers, can breathe easy if they have asthma or other respiratory problems. Automatic climate control means seniors won’t have to fuss with adjusting heat temperatures, and can set their desired temp and forget it.
The mid-level Sport Touring, $38,400 msrp adds an appearance package, different wheel choices, Sport Touring grille, 20-inch carbon flash metallic painted alloy wheels, alloy pedals, leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, and embroidered perforated front leather seats with synthetic suede inserts. The top dog is the Avenir, $47,000 msrp, bringing many luxury features in its wake, including 20 inch Pearl Nickel finish wheels, dual zone auto climate control, a power liftgate, heated front seats and steering wheel with eight way seat adjustment and 4 way lumbar, a panoramic moonroof, air quality indicator, and full-leather appointed quilted front seats. Envisions have a powerful 228 horsepower turbo motor with 258 lb-ft of torque and a 9 speed automatic transmission that delivers 28 mpg on the highway and 22 MPG in the city.
A number of attractive offers can now be found on new Envisions. GM is offering a stellar .9% APR for 36 months for well qualified buyers on 2024 and 2025 Envision, plus $1,000 purchase allowance and no payments for 90 days. Buick has also been found leasing the Envision for $299 a month for 2 years with $4,679 down for eligible current GM lessees. There is also a $1,000 purchase allowance on 2025 Envision.
