How To Save On The Chrysler Pacifica Minivan

The Dodge Caravan started a craze in the 1980s when it debuted alongside the Plymouth Voyager, the very first minivans. Wood-grain and Lee Iacocca are both things of the past, but the new Chrysler Pacifica is a modern and luxurious minivan. Down to just one model in the Chrysler range, Stellantis has some great offers on Pacifica models.

While other American vans like the Ford Windstar, Chevy Venture, and the Dodge “Caravan” itself aren’t produced anymore, the Chrysler Pacifica is a highly luxurious van choice to face off with Asian competition (Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey, Kia Carnival). Americans with families and dogs who want to buck the SUV trend are accordingly in for a treat. Minivans are a great way to get your family and all your gear from one place to another.

The Pacifica is the modern-day Dodge Caravan, and is the only Mopar minivan available today; Chrysler discontinued the entry-level “Voyager” in 2022 after producing it as an old Pacifica for three years with the former Plymouth model name; Chrysler has just resurrected this strategy for 2025 if you really want to save on a new van (the Voyager is three thousand less than the Pacifica). If you rent a minivan in America, you are likely to get a Pacifica, and you may be surprised just how luxurious they are, rivaling the experiences one might get in a Grand Cherokee or Yukon.

Starting at $42,450 msrp for Select trim, the Pacifica is offered as a regular gas model or as a plug-in hybrid. The plug in hybrid allows electric-only mode for 33 miles of driving and is rated at 84 MPGe combined. Touring Pacificas come with standard emergency braking, forward collision warning system, adaptive cruise, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, 17-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlamps, LED foglamps, LED taillamps, third-row Snow ‘n Go seats, first-row heated seats, heated steering wheel, power liftgate, power sliding doors, and a 10.1 inch touchscreen with Apple Carplay and Android Auto support. Limited adds luxurious Napa leather-trimmed seats with both ventilation and heating, 20 inch polished wheels, available all wheel drive, second row Captain’s chairs, and 19 speaker Harman Kardon audio. Pinnacle represents the top of the range, with 20 inch painted and polished wheels in a two-tone pattern, and integrated Ultra center console.

The hybrid option is a bit more expensive, starting however, there is a soon-expiring $7500 federal tax credit available, and you can save a lot on gas. There is also a top-of-the-line Pinnacle Hybrid trim which starts at $60,990 msrp and includes 18 inch wheels and quilted leather upholstery and matching lumbar pillows. Neither the 287 hp gas model nor the 260hp combined hybrid output are speed demons, each taking about eight seconds to reach 60 miles per hour.

Right now Chrysler has a host of excellent offers on the Pacifica with their Drive Into Fall Event. Chrysler has $2,250-$3,250 of trim-dependent bonus cash allowance on select Pacifica vans in dealer stock. Chrysler also has 6.9% APR on select Pacifica trims for 72 months. Lease deals are available on Pacifica Select, from $385 per month for 42 months with $3,929 down. Pacifica Hybrid is offered with a whopping $7,500 retail consumer cash allowance (see Chrysler’s fine print for the details or consult a local dealer). Be sure to check local dealers for best incentives as they may vary by region. Cast a wide net using the dealer inventory tool and compare multiple stores within a reasonable driving radius; despite national promotions, not all dealers price the same, and some will be more aggressive on in-stock colors or option packages. Ask every store for an out-the-door price that includes taxes and fees, and be selective about add-ons like paint protection, VIN etching, maintenance packages, and extra alarm systems—polite declines on extras can save hundreds or even thousands.
