Inside the Mercedes GLC & Top Offers This Month
Mercedes started the luxury SUV craze with its ML320, prominently featured in The Lost World: Jurassic Park well-before the dawn of the SUV's reign. The modern-day GLC300 is one of the best-selling Mercedes SUVs, at the intersection of luxury and affordability. Right now Mercedes has a number of great incentives on the GLC, making the Mercedes dream possible for many.
Mercedes-Benz are the progenitors of automobiles themselves, dating back to Carl Benz’s 1886 self-propelled gasoline engine wagon, thoroughly documented in the magnificent Mercedes-Benz museum in Stuttgart, Germany. The GLC300 is the spiritual successor to the high-volume GLK small SUV, which bowed out in 2015 to make way for the GLC. No longer the smallest Mercedes SUV, the GLC eclipses the tiny GLA and boxy gas/electric GLB in size. Fully redesigned for the 2023 model year, the mid-size GLC is now in its second generation, and is offered in multiple drivetrains and bodystyles.
The GLC300 starts at $51,550 msrp, putting its starting price right around that of the average new car transaction price. Mercedes claims a 6.2 second 0-60 time. An 11.90 inch central touchscreen is positioned toward the driver, while a 12.3 inch digital gauge cluster reads out vehicle speed and engine information. Wireless Apple Carplay and Android auto are standard, along with 64-color ambient cabin color light choices. The GLC300 comes in black, polar white, obsidian black, graphite grey, nautical blue, mojave silver, citrus silver, starling blue, moonlight white, graphite grey matte, and patagonia red.

Power comes from a respectable 2.0 liter turbo four with 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, assisted by a 48 volt hybrid battery system. It gets 24 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. Rear wheel drive is standard, while Mercedes 4MATIC all wheel drive is optional. All models get a 9 speed automatic transmission. Standard features include heated front seats, power front seats, split folding rear seat, 11.9 inch 3rd generation Mercedes Benz UX touchscreen interface, 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster, 64 color ambient interior LED lighting, MB-Tex seat trim, power folding side mirrors, hands free access, and as goes without saying, all power windows, doors, and locks.
Mercedes has had challenging profitability of late according to the Wall Street Journal. Famous for attractive lease rates, Mercedes is now running some great promotions on GLC models as 2025 conclues. These include lease deals from $599 a month with $5,223 down on 2025 GLC 300 plus a $2,000 loyalty bonus for eligible customers (which has quite a bit of fine print, be sure to read up). GLC300 4MATIC leases at $629 a month with $5,893 down with the same $2,000 bonus. All GLC 300s are also financing at a low 1.99% APR for up to 36 months. 2025 GLC 350e 4MATIC has the lowest lease rate, at $429 a month with $5,473 down, including $9500 of lease bonus cash. Consult your local dealer for most up-to-date information and best pricing as incentives may vary by region. Cast a wide net using the dealer inventory tool and compare multiple stores within a reasonable driving radius; despite national promotions, not all dealers price the same, and some will be more aggressive on in-stock colors or option packages. Ask every store for an out-the-door price that includes taxes and fees, and be selective about add-ons like paint protection, VIN etching, maintenance packages, and extra alarm systems—polite declines on extras can save hundreds or even thousands.
