How To Save On 3rd Generation Nissan Frontiers

The Nissan Frontier was fully redesigned with its third generation, throwing its dated predecessor in the dustbin of automotive history. This American-built midsize continues to shatter assumptions about "Japanese" midsize trucks. Nissan has a number of great incentives right now on the Frontier. You just might be able to get an amazing price on this stunning truck.

Nissan has deep roots in the United States, having built cars here since 1983 at its factory in Smyrna, Tennessee, as well as designing numerous vehicles at its La Jolla, California design center such as the iconic HardBody (which now has its own new Frontier special edition), the 1986 Pathfinder, and sport coupes 350Z and 370Z. Today, Nissan sells well over half a million vehicles a year here. The Frontier is built in Canton, Mississippi.

The Frontier has gone from being far behind the pack to joining the mid-size pickup fray with the third-gen Frontier. Handsome and boxy styling pays homage to the 1980’s Nissan HardBody pickup, and it even has a Crew Cab HardBody edition added for this year in 4x4 only. Its 17-inch wheels, decals, and rear bed sport bar are all borrowed from the original, and its sure to be a retro fan favorite amongst the Ready Player One set.

On the other end of the spectrum, the entry-level 4x2 Frontier King Cab S starts at $32,050 msrp, with a standard 3.8L V-6 sporting 310 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque mated to a 9-speed auto; eat your heart out four-cylinder Chevy Silverados. 4-wheel drive runs a bit more than $3,000 on top, while the four-door Crew Cab S starts at $33,450 for rear wheel drive. Pro-X ($38,470 MSRP) trim adds 17-inch wheels, Bilstein off road shock absorbers, and lava red interior stitching. Cars.com named the Frontier best value midsize truck for 2025.

Other trim levels include the SV, Pro-X, and SL, which can be mixed and matched with either crew cab, King cab, and short bet or long bed. The number of potential configurations is quite numerous, but for example, the Crew Cab Long Bed SV 4x2 starts at $36,290 msrp and includes 17 inch alloys, has a trailer hitch with wiring harness, and a 73.3 inch bed length. SV trim adds power mirrors, power driver’s seat. Pro-X adds black alloys, off road shock absorbers, and red contrast interior stitching. The top of the heap is the Crew Cab SL 4x4, at $45,110 msrp including LED signature headlights and leather seats.

Official deals with which you can save on the Frontier from Nissan corporate are numerous for the 2025 Frontier as the model year wraps up. It is financing at 3.9% APR for a whopping 84 months plus $500 bonus cash. Nissan is also offering $3,500 customer cash in lieu of the APR rate, plus $500 bonus cash. One can lease for $409 a month for 36 months with $3,929 down on select trims. Nissan also offers $500 grad cash, and $500 military cash. Be sure to check local dealers for any region-specific pricing and discounts. Cast a wide net using the dealer inventory tool and compare multiple stores within a reasonable driving radius; despite national promotions, not all dealers price the same, and some will be more aggressive on in-stock colors or option packages. Ask every store for an out-the-door price that includes taxes and fees, and be selective about add-ons like paint protection, VIN etching, maintenance packages, and extra alarm systems—polite declines on extras can save hundreds or even thousands.
