Nissan has deep roots in the United States, having gotten its start as Datsun building cars since 1983 at its factory in Smyrna, Tennessee. The 2024 Nissan Rogue gets a refresh, with new wheels, grille, taillights, body cladding, and three brand new colors. Right now, Nissan is pushing a number of incentives to move unsold Rogue models. You just might be able to get an amazing price on a brand new car.
The Rogue is Nissan’s best selling model. All new for the 2021 model year, the 2024 Rogue got a slight refresh this year, starts just a hair over $28k, and has brand new block-based styling that somewhat resembles the 1980s Pathfinder. The Rogue Sport, which started under $24k, was just discontinued, though leftover models may still be available. Nissan still lists the 2023 Rogue in a variety of trims on their website, indicating the amount of remaining new 2023 inventory to be had.
A 201 horsepower / 225 lb-ft of torque turbo engine is standard (with just three cylinders!), and all wheel drive is optional if you are going to “go Rogue” off-road. While its sixteen second quarter mile time isn’t going to tear up your local drag strip, the Rogue still packs a ton of value into a great package. Its fuel-miserly powerplant eeks out a very respectable 37 MPG highway rating in front wheel drive (or 35 mpg in all wheel drive) — excellent numbers for a vehicle of its size. Beautiful optional quilted semi-aniline leather seats class up the top-of-the-line Rogue Platinum trim, and would not look out of place on a Mercedes Maybach. Platinum trim starts at $37,490 msrp for FWD and $38,990 for AWD, each with 19-inch wheels.
One of the most popular Rogue models is the value-packed SV trim. It comes with remote engine start, 18 inch alloy wheels, optional two-tone paint packages (with black roof), and collision safety system. All of this on top of the base Rogue’s standard features and 5-Star NHTSA safety rating, with automated emergency braking that has pedestrian detection, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control that has a semi-autonomous driving mode. Nissan’s powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles, and a limited warranty covers three years and 36,000 miles.
Right now Nissan is offering attractive APR’s on remaining 2024 Rogue models. They also have lease packages with enticing pricing. Lastly, Nissan has both $500 recent grad cash, as well as $500 military discount, not to mention the Rogue’s attractive starting msrp of just $28,850. Be sure to check local dealers for the best current incentives near you.
